Subsidiary “Seeds”
EPE SPA SODESEM
The SODESEM subsidiary specializes in the development and production of certified agricultural seeds, particularly cereal seeds and potato seeds.
It plays a key role in enhancing the quality and availability of seeds for national agricultural production.
The subsidiary includes 16 Agricultural Production Units, representing significant land potential.
Agricultural Potential:
- Total Agricultural Area (TAA): 28,376 hectares
- Utilized Agricultural Area (UAA): 24,770 hectares
Production Infrastructure:
In addition to these units, there is a Production Unit owned by Agro Développement SAGRODEV, equipped with an in vitro multiplication laboratory capable of producing 1.5 million mini-tubers.
This unit also includes 380 hectares of utilized agricultural area for the production of G1 and G2 generation potato seeds.
